Sitestar.pt promotes the development of digital skills among young people, encouraging them to create websites on various topics and become more active digital citizens.

The initiative is open to students and teachers from DECO Jovem schools and is organised in two categories:
- More digital school supports the creation of websites for school projects covering specific subjects, citizenship topics or school activities.
- With talent you make a difference, focuses on websites linked to artistic expression, sport, volunteering and social inclusion.

Throughout the project, young people take part in dedicated workshops that guide them through both the technical and the civic dimensions of being online, including:
- safe internet use
- copyright and online responsibility
- building and managing a website
- exploring the opportunities and risks of artificial intelligence

This project is developed by DECO , the Portuguese member of BEUC, as part of its youth programme DECO Jovem.
