Consent of children

BEUC’s websites do not knowingly or intentionally process personal data of children. When we require consent to process children’s personal data, parents or guardians must give their consent or authorisation.

Cookies

Wondering why no cookie banner popped up when you entered our website? That’s because BEUC strives not to use cookies. Cookies are text files containing a small amount of data which are sent to your device when you visit websites.

BEUC uses the web analytics service Matomo to evaluate the use of our websites and report about the impact of BEUC’s activities. Matomo collects aggregate statistics such as the number of page visits and documents downloaded. These statistics do not include personal data and we keep them indefinitely. We have configured Matomo without cookies to respect your privacy. In addition, you can opt out from being part of our statistics below:

You may choose to prevent this website from aggregating and analyzing the actions you take here. Doing so will protect your privacy, but will also prevent the owner from learning from your actions and creating a better experience for you and other users.

If you disable Matomo or exclude yourself from being tracked via your browser, an essential short-lived cookie will be placed in your browser. If you delete your cookies, the Matomo opt-out cookie will also be deleted. You will have to opt-out again when you visit us.
