Description
The "Verbraucherchecker" education programme from the Federation of German Consumer Organisations (vzbv) offers teachers and other interested parties various ways to make young people fit for everyday consumer life. 1) The interactive workshop programme directly at the place of learning Trained trainers come directly to the place of learning - nationwide and free of charge. The workshop programme offers a wide range of topics relevant to everyday life, taught using creative methods. The programme can be implemented flexibly as a double lesson or over several project days. Topics (selection): Food labelling, fake shops, cost traps in online gaming, financial tips on social media, conscious use of resources 2) Giving workshops as a trainer The free digital trainer training consists of two parts: The „concept day“ focuses on how the workshop programme is structured and teaches methods. The second day, the „theme day“, focuses on three consumer topics. After the training, participants receive a certificate as a trainer. A fee can be paid for the realisation of workshops. 3) Using the teaching and learning material in your own lessons Teachers can also use the „Verbraucherchecker“ materials individually in their own lessons. They include presentations on the workshop programme as well as worksheets and solution sheets. The Checker Space, the research platform for consumer topics, offers content in various formats and work material for free download
